Zero-waste week done 😌 now to make it a lifestyle. This week i got pretty close to my goals and learnt A LOT. Here’s something else that we don’t talk about enough - food wastage.

In 2019, we racked up over 744000 tonnes of food waste with about half of all food waste generated by households. Globally, over 1/3 of all food produced goes to waste.

I know making personal changes might seem insignificant, but that’s exactly where to start! here are some tips:
- Take note of your food intake and order only what you need.
- Make a shopping list and keep to it
- Cut the carbs (as i’m really trying to do). They’re the most commonly wasted.

Saving our home is a big team effort 🌍 there’s a sense of urgency needed. But even in doing so, let’s not tear people down, but bring them along with us. We’re all we have!
